Varicose and Spider Vein Treatments

Varicose veins and spider veins are visible below the surface of the skin and have a dark or red appearance. Varicose veins appear large, swollen, and often twisted, while spider veins consist of a thin "web" of veins branching out under the skin.

Varicose Veins

Varicose veins can be a serious medical condition depending on the severity. The unhealthy vein can cause clotting and often triggers uncomfortable symptoms include tingling, burning, throbbing, or aching in the legs. Certain varicose veins can be treated with laser therapy. By eliminating the unhealthy vein, blood will redirect itself to healthy veins and the patient's symptoms will decrease or subside altogether.

Spider Veins

Spider veins typically do not present a medical risk and do not show any symptoms other than the visibility of the veins below the skin. Spider veins are thin and do not appear swollen. They cluster together most commonly on the face and legs. Facial vein treatments offer a solution for unwanted spider veins and associated redness on the face. Laser treatments will reduce or eliminate the appearance of the spider veins and redness around the treatment area.

Laser leg vein treatments are common for both spider veins and varicose veins found in the legs. Aging often leads to increased visibility of spider veins on the legs. Laser treatments can reduce the appearance of spider veins as well as rejuvenate the skin for younger, healthier looking legs.

Please schedule a consultation to diagnose your current vein problems and receive the appropriate treatment.
